Right to be forgotten
What is the right to be forgotten?
Under Article 17 of the UK GDPR individuals have the right to have personal data erased. This is also known as the ‘right to be forgotten’. The right only applies to data held at the time the request is received. It does not apply to data that may be created in the future. The right is not absolute and only applies in certain circumstances. Read more about the right to be forgotten on the ICO website.
Who can use this form?
If you are a RateHighly user (i.e. you have a login for a RateHighly account), you can delete your account in the RateHighly Dashboard Account Settings page (you must be an Admin user to do this).
Note that if you wish to stop receiving emails from a RateHighly account you should click the unsubscribe link in the email footer to stop receiving emails from that account. This form should only be used when you believe your email address has been used without your consent.
While requests for erasure should generally be sent to the data controller (i.e. a RateHighly account owner), we have created this form to make it easier for you to exercise your right to be forgotten.
You can use this feature even if you are in a jurisdiction that is not covered by the GDPR.
We take right to be forgotten requests seriously and will respond to your request within 30 days. Multiple requests regarding the same RateHighly account can lead to their account suspension. If you feel GDPR has been breached, you should raise a complaint with the data controller (i.e. a RateHighly account owner) - RateHighly is a data processor only.
Note: we only use your email address to lookup any associated data.
